Animals

You can find variety after variety of all types of mammals, birds , butterflies, and reptiles at most any park, and even in your backyard. Native Wildlife includes: Florida Panther, Zebra Longwing Butterfly, Monarch Butterfly, Alligators, Iguanas, Opposums, Great Blue Herons, Ibis, Ducks, Manatees, Dolphin, Turtles, Otters, Raccoons, Bobcats, Deer, Hawks, Pelicans, and Coots.


Another native to Florida is the Seminole Indian Tribe. The people of the Seminole Indian Tribe live on land that they own. Many casinos in Florida are on Seminole land, and the money made form the casino goes towards them. Because its their land, their rules and laws also apply.  The Seminoles are most famous for their beadwork, basketry, art, and patchwork.
